Learn how to manage, optimise, scale and evolve your Kanban system over time with this 16 hours training: Kanban Systems Improvement with KMP certification.
Kanban Systems Improvement
The Kanban Systems Improvement is a 16 hours training that prepares participants to manage with Kanban day to day, run feedback loops, operating at scale and play with relevant metrics. The KSI training is the final step in the track to get KMP certification.
With Kanban, we start by developing and visualising a joint understanding of the current way of working. We look at how things are working and where there are sources of dissatisfaction. Then, improvements are identified and introduced. The Kanban Systems Improvement training goes deep into the Kanban Method covering the rollout and daily operation of a Kanban system. Participants will learn how to manage, optimise, scale and evolve it over time.
Moreover, if you currently work with teams that have “plateaued” and aren’t improving, this course will help you to design visualisations that show where improvement opportunities exist and apply it.
- At first, managing evolutionary change.
- Dealing with Resistance to change.
- Feedback loops and continuous learning.
- Implementing and scaling out Kanban.
- Balancing demand and capability.
- Optimising flow and predictability.
- Go deep into the use of key metrics such as Lead Time, Run Charts, and CFD – Cumulative Flow Diagrams to make continuous improvements.
Attendees are expected to have read “Kanban” by David J Anderson or “Kanban from the Inside” by Mike Burrows.
Prior attendance in the Kanban System Design class is preferred.
Kanban Systems Improvement is for you if…
People who are currently using a Kanban system, have prior experience with Kanban or are currently in the KMP training series.
Note that the training is NOT just for IT professionals. As a matter of fact Kanban has a great penetration in the IT area. We’ve seen, however, training participants – as well as success cases – from HR, Marketing, Finance, Portfolio Management and several others knowledge areas.
Kanban University Certified Training
Participants will receive a certificate of completion for the KSI – Kanban Systems Improvements training. Moreover, this training is the final step towards the Kanban Management Professional – KMP certification. Students completing KSD – Kanban System Design plus KSI courses receive the KMP certification.
Once again, both KSD and KSI trainings are required to achieve KMP, the most famous certification from Kanban University.
If you represent a company and have the intention to promote a private class, we can make it happen. A great percentage of trainings happen inside organisations in private classes. Your company can either host the class on-premises or we arrange it in an external location close by. The 16 hours can be in person or remote; or even completed in 2 consecutive days vs. distributed along 4 days. Get in contact and share your intention!
